Description
The new North Oshawa Emergency Medical Services (EMS) facilities is operated by Durham Region EMS and Durham Region. Need for a replacement became evident since the previous station located at 400 Ritson Rd. N. became too small for the growing needs of the Oshawa community and there was no room for expansion.
This new 6,889sf facility is a single storey ambulatory station that includes a 3 bay, (6 truck) apparatus bay, lounge, equipment room, locker and change rooms, and report writing offices. The station was designed and built to meet the needs of the community for several years into the future.
