George Brown College – Casa Loma Campus – Athletics Facility Renovation

Renovations of the existing Athletics Facility at George Brown’s Casa Loma Campus initially involved the replacement of the roof waterproofing systems, demolition of the existing gymnasium facilities and modification of structural elements to make way for a new state of the art modern facility.

Project highlights included creating a facility with improved welcoming characteristics with updated finishes, natural light, a welcome desk, connections through new wayfinding, circulation paths and open views to the atrium and cafeteria. An enlarged and open gymnasium, weight room and new fitness studio spaces was also created. Mechanical systems were also updated to improve ventilation.

This project was fast-tracked using Construction Management Contract Format.
